There is an alternative way to live that doesn’t in include having to give up anything like meat, or sex, or your brain. Take it as you will. Be serious or flippant. The alien does not give us all the answers to life the universe and everything….sorry. But he does give us suggestions that could just possibly change our world if we are prepared to listen to him.

This is a great concept - and I truly admire creativeness.It held my attention, and seemed very real, for example (to avoid giving any away) the interviewer might mention something specific, and the alien would explain it away as some totally different cause, etc.

Aside from editing errors, I thought this book was interesting and thought provoking. I could see the error in our human ways, and wished I were in a position to do something about the issues presented.
I was interested in reading the book until I saw that it espouses the 'do whatever you want even if you harm others' viewpoint. Can't be a good alien!
This thought provoking book, with touches of humour, is for anyone interested in seeing our world from a completely different perspective. It had never occurred to me that an alien might pick a single person to contact. We all tend to think that the world would be rocked by an invasion. Hollywood has a lot to answer for. I can't decide if this is for real or not. It does my head in. Reading the conversation in not sensationalist, just weird.
It also means that those people who think they have been abducted and abused are so wrong. An advanced civilisation such as this interview implies has been there and done that millions of years ago. The really intriguing part is the time travel aspect. I am coming to the conclusion that on Earth we live as savages who have everything to gain and learn from an alien race. And so far to go technologically speaking. As Douglas Adams pointed out we think digital watches are cool. Our race is doomed if we carry on as we are that is for sure, Read this book and realise we are not alone, but we are, for the most part, stupid. If education on Earth cannot get it's message across that the world is in danger then we have no hope. A dismal thought. Read this book and someone out there might have an answer but is too self a facing or too grand or bad at communicating, I don't know. I wish I had answers. I hope the Alien returns soon. I need to know much much more.
The author has some very unique ideas about the world and the universe. He uses an alien as an excuse to share those views with you. I only made it to 12% in the kindle version before giving up, so I can't speak about the whole book, but what I read was unsupported random strange ideas, many with no realistic rationale. I am open minded and enjoy reading well written works about different ideas. But nothing here here offers support for the ideas or the "facts" presented.
